But who is Patrícia?

“Ever since I started walking, in the studio of a painter in Germany where my grandmother worked, I knew there was an Art bug in me ─ but only in high school I had that click and thought “Well, I found exactly what I love and want to do for the rest of my life”.

The scribbled notebooks of drawings with eyes and mouths have blossomed into something much deeper and more emotional, allowing a little bit of me to be present in more than 600 homes and even in my favorite podcast.

The word of mouth, the regular customers and the sharing of the behind the scenes of my drawings, have opened many doors for me to show you the power that Art can have in everyone’s life.
And I’ve been sure loving this journey!

With a degree in Arts and Design, I have refined my drawing style over the years – a balance between realism and illustration. Every stroke I make by hand is infused with the essence of the person I’m portraying, and there’s always a prior study to understand every freckle, every mole, every expression.
I would even say that each portrait has a soul of its own, by making moments last forever ─ momens that meant so much to those who come to me.

As a consequence, the relationship I have with my customers is extra special: they are not just numbers or another drawing, I really want to go deeper and understand their story and all the emotions so I can deliver the best work possible.

I truly believe in the curative Power of Art – how it can help to heal sadness, bring together people and families that live miles and miles apart or even grandparents that never got to meet their grandkids.
And I want that more and more people get to feel that Power, and understand that
these aren’t just drawings.
Because they are so much more.

In the turbulent year 2020, while the world was closed due to the pandemic, I had the privilege of being entrusted with many comissions that allowed my Art and this small business to flourish.
And finally, in 2023 and thanks to you, I finally got the courage and made the decision to dedicate myself 100% to this passion!

Today, my work goes beyond graphite portraits. As well as custom portrait drawings, 100% handmade, I also paint “Golden Babies” – a unique celebration of new lives through watercolor. For those of you who are fans of my art but are perhaps looking for something more affordable, you can also find my “Golden Collection”, where I bring to everyday life, always with my drawing style present, great figures from history who have inspired me and certainly some of you.
